Operate 4 critical subsea pipeline beach-head 42” class 1500 ball valves with only electric power supply available.

Solution

EGR-50K electric actuator based on ICON2004 electronics and controls with 30kW multi-turn electric motor, coupled through a 4-stage high efficiency precision machined epicyclical gearing to a custom design quarter turn adaptor, able to guarantee the best performances:

• 500.000 Nm torque and 42” operating time to close.
• Complete diagnostics and partial stroke test capability inbuilt
• Third party certified FMECA
• Design life 40 years
